Personality-wise I can be reserved at first encounter, but fun and/or loud once you get to know me. Having someone to care for inspires me and being able to confide in someone I can trust carries me through. My faith and how it influences my life is most important to me. I look to continue my faith journey hand-in-hand with my spouse. (We help each other make it to heaven.) I am very passionate about writing and language, but I also enjoy sports and having fun with friends. My social circle is fairly small, but I try to expand it when I can. My vision of a perfect date would begin with spending some time before the Eucharist or in prayer, meeting each others' families, going to dinner or going out with friends. Double dates are always a good idea! I see any dating relationship as courtship for marriage and spending a lifetime together. My partner would definitely have to be willing to help me as I would help her. Marriage is about teamwork! The keys to making it work are patience, hard work, forgiveness, prayer, self-giving without expecting anything in return, and openness with the other. I'm not saying all this has to be immediate: it takes a lifetime to get good at it, but we can't give up when the going gets tough. Practice makes perfect.
